The villa, on our family domain, is approached by a long private drive and is very secluded. St Barts is a very safe island. The land below the villa and to the right (100 acres + !! ) is occupied by a few sheep – that’s all! The villas to the left are well hidden. From the Terrace the islands of St Martin, Saba, St Eustache, and the Port of Gustavia are visible. The views and sunsets are “Huge”. The island is small and anywhere is not far away.
One of our St Barts vacation clients said, "This is our 2nd visit to Villa HENSON Only the heart, soul and spirit can know and express the beauty, serenity peace, love and joy felt and lived here! We've visited the island many times stayed at (list of villas!). While all are beautiful in their own right none are as beautiful, peaceful and private as this villa. " 'Nuf said...
Villa Henson is about 70 meters (200 ft) above the Caribbean sea and in the mornings you can sometimes see turtles swimming below. There are no other villas below Villa Henson. The view is due west so the sunsets are virtually opposite, between Saba and St Maarten depending on the time of year. On the horizon, you can see (north to south) St. Marteen, Saba, St. Eustache, St. Kitts and Nevis. I have even seen Montserrat! Read More
St Barts is a small island yet it packs more charm, more fabulous beaches, more great restaurants than perhaps any other Caribbean vacation spot. There are shops to suit all pockets and it is a very secure place to go for a vacation.
- If you have never been to St Barts and you come here. You will not go anywhere else again!.
- St Barts has been called (rightly) the St Tropez of the Caribbean. Having been to St Tropez I'd say it's far better.
- Each of the 15 best beaches here have their own charm. Grand Colombier, pictured above, is a must.
